DV Lottery for Liberia offers good chance for the educated Liberians to immigrate to the USA legally and in quick if they meet all the eligibility and if have a friend or relative in the USA to support them. This is draw is held each year to offer 50,000 immigrant visa to immigrate to the USA to maintain the diversity of the people living in the USA. It is free to apply for the draw but the winners must pay the visa processing fees, if selected as winners in the draw. It is notable that of for any reason if your visa is refused the visa processing US$ 330 will not be returned back. It is not necessary to be a married person to participate in the Green Card draw.
People born in Liberia are allowed to participate in the American Government administered DV Lottery program.
Those who want to participate in the visa draw must have their valid International passport. The passport details should be entered in the E-DV entry.

The Passport rule will not apply for the dependants of the primary applicants.
DV-2022 American Green Card Program will accept entries from eligible people in this year 2020.

Required Education Certificate for the Liberian applicant is West African Examinations Council (WAEC with compulsory subjects).
Their birth only gives the approval to participate in the draw. It doesn't matter wherever they are living today or what passport they hold.
Liberian born person's Passport must have the minimum validity of at least 6 months and must have enough blank pages in it.
Medical examination should be done by an embassy recommended Medical Practioner.
Other medicals will not be accepted.
Police clearance (applicants 16 years and older) from every country that you have lived for 6 months or more after the age of 16.
Selected winners in the DV-2017 is around 2,484. (No country can have more than 3,500 visas under any FY program.)
In the year 2008 nearly 400 people who were selected for the DV 2009 American visa lottery had lost their visas and the visa processing fees due to not meeting the eligibility requirements at their interview time. 700 people got their immigrant visas at the Monrovia consular office under the DV 2009 program where 1,344 visas were reserved for Liberia born people.
