DV Lottery for Poland.
Poland born people are eligible to participate in the American Green card lottery this year 2011, through the DV-2013 visa lottery program. In the past DV 2011 and DV 2012, they were not eligible to participate in the American DV lottery.
Poland natives (who were born in Poland) can participate in this DV-2013 even if they are living in another country that is not eligible to participate in the DV Lottery or having another country citizenship or PR status.
If those Poland natives want to participate in the American dv lottery they must have completed 12 years of junior and high school education and should have successfully passed the high school certificate completely with all the compulsory subjects or they must have 2 years of work experience work experience within the last 5 years after learning/training the job for 2 years. Take note that all the jobs won't be accepted at the time of the interview. The U.S. Department of Labor's O*Net OnLine database will be used to determine qualifying work experience.
Single person can submit only one entry along with his/her digital photo file (Photo file should meet all the DV Lottery photo instructions) through the DV Lottery application that will be available in the American Government's official web site for a period of 32 days from 04/10/2011 till 05/11/2011. There is no charge to download and fill the form within the given 60 minutes of time period.
Married person must include his/her spouse and all the eligible children who are not married and under the age of 21 along with their individual digital photo files. Failure to include the eligible dependants will make the primary applicant out of the DV Lottery.
If both the husband and wife are eligible they can submit one entry for each including whole family. If both of them win, then the most qualified one must proceed with the winning.
If you are Poland born person you can apply for this Green card Lottery from any part of the world through the internet connected PC or laptop. But don't forget to printout or to copy your confirmation code that will be shown in the monitor screen once your entry is accepted successfully for the green card lottery program for the fiscal year 2013. The confirmation code will not be reissued again by the KCC if it is lost or miss placed.
The DV-2013 Results can be checked online in the official web site from 01 May 2012 with your case number. Winners must follow the instruction shown in the web site.
If you are living in Poland you can request for the interview in the local US Embassy and the interview will be held according to your case number.
If you are Polish person living in the USA and selected as a winner for the DV 2013, then wait for your case number to be current and when it becomes current contact USCIS office to change your current status to LPR status.
Winning the DV2013 will not give you the American visa right away but will allow you ro apply for it and you must meet all the eligibility requirements of the American Immigration program.
The dv2013 visa processing fee is non refundable US$ 819 for each dependants and primary applicants. The visa fee is non refundable one and for any given reason the visas are refused the visa fees will not be given back.
