DV-2011. American visa Lottery.

DV-2011 was held in the year 2009 and did issued nearly 50,000 American immigrant visas till 30th September 2011. There are no more visas available under the DV 2011 visa lottery program. If you are selected under the DV 2011 visa lottery program, there is no more ways to get visas using it. So forget about it and participate in the coming visa lottery program.

These visas will enable the winners to live and work permanently in USA with their spouse and children who are under the age of 21.

Normally to participate in this Green card lottery you must be born in an eligible country and must have High school degree or work experience according to the American DV Lottery instructions.

There is only one way to participate in this lottery. You must apply through E-DV application form in the US Government official web site.

Paper entries will not be accepted for the Green card lottery program. Each applicant must include their photo as a digital file as given in the instruction.

Married person must include spouse details and photo and all the eligible children details and image files for each person separately.

For the next Green card lottery program which is also called as DV-2013. You must apply through the online E-DV entry form that used to be available only in the official web site or you can use an agent or company to apply on behalf of you. Whoever applies for the program you are the one responsible for the submitted information.

12.1 million Qualified entries were submitted through the on line E-DV Application form for a period of 60 days from October 2, 2009, until noon November 30, 2009 for the dv 2011 visa lottery program. From those submitted entries nearly 100,600 persons were selected by the Computers in the KCC and were notified through postal mail to proceed with their winning. The DV 2011 visa lottery program is now closed after issuing 50,000 visa to those selected people and proofed their eligibility at their interviews.

Where To Check DV 2011 Results Online?
The DV 2011 online results checking facility was closed on 30th April and it won't be available again and the program has already started to issue visas to the winners from October 1, 2010. Issuing of this visas will officially will close on 30th September 2011 or before if the visas exhaust.

Those selected winners living in the USA will have to contact the USCIS office to change their status to LPR status when their Case Numbers are current for that month. Also the winner living in the America must pay the processing fee of US$ 819 and must provide a sponsor through the I-819 form.
