DV 2009 Lottery for Sri Lanka Born people are as follows.
They are simple but strict rules. One person can apply only one entry as primary applicant.
Sri lanka born people can participate in this DV 2009 Lottery, which is going select 50,000 people world wide to issue LPR Visa from eligible countries.
According to the US embassy in Sri lanka, those Sri lanka people who want to participate ( living abrod too can) must have Six GCE O-Levels including compulsory subjects or work experience within the past five years in a profession that requires at lest two years of training or experience to perform.
The Department of State Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky, will notify the lottery winners by mail (NOT e-mail) between May and July, 2008, If they qualify, they will then have a one-year window in which they may immigrate to the United States.
Under the last year’s Diversity Visa lottery program DV 2008, 318 cases are qualified for immigrant visa interviews.
