As for the Nepal born person, to enter the lottery
1. Their age must be more than of 18.
2. Their education must be Intermediate or certificate level, which is the degree obtained for successfully finishing two years in college after ten years of school.
Ten plus two that includes twelve years of schooling.
If the DV winner has not completed 12 years of education, he or she must have work experience in an occupation identified by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Few people in Nepal qualify for the DV, based on their work experience.
Most of these kinds of jobs require the equivalent of a U.S. university degree.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s O*Net OnLine database will be used to determine qualifying work experience.
3. You must have an image file to upload along with the entry according to the DV Instruction.
4. If you are married you must include your Spouse details and photo.
5. If you have eligible children, must include their details (in the order ) along with their photo.
If you are selected you will be notified by Postal mail to your address given in the entry form, along with further instruction, around May 2008 to July 2008.
