DV Lottery 2009, only one month left to apply.

The on going DV 2009 Lottery will stop accepting entries from the eligible people on 2nd Dec 2007 till 12:00 PM EST (GMT -5). There after no entries will be accepted. Those who are intrested in applying to this lottery must submit their entries early as there will be a rush in the last days as was in the last four years. In the last days when a lot of people try to access the official web site, the server can't support the heavy request as a result people will get "pager not found" pages. Some time those filled entries will not bring the confirmation result when they submit the entry. So have to do the entire form filling and image file uploading. A Family person applying may not get the other forms for spouse and children, because of the heavy demand. So it is recommended to submit your entries early as soon as possible.

Winners will be selected by computer random draw and will be notified by postal mail. Winners will not be informed by email or by any other means other than postal mail. The mail will contain winning notification and further instructions. There will be no need to pay any money in the process till the winner go to the Embassy to collect the visa. The winner has to pay for the visa and the related fees only at the time of going to the visa interview at the Embassy.
