Diversity Visa Lottery.DV 2012 is the name for the American Government's official visa lottery program, also popularly known as Green card lottery. American Government is conducting this DV Lottery program every year to maintain the diversity of its people. So they allow qualified people with the required education or work experience to participate in the annually held visa lottery program. Also those applicants should be born in an eligible country as per the list of the U.S State department. Normally those countries which did sent less than 50,000 people to the USA within the last 5 years are eligible. The diversity visa lottery program has already accepted entries for a period of 60 days from the month of October to November in the year 2009 for the 2011 fiscal year program. The diversity visa lottery is conducted annually by the American Government through its KCC center to issue 50,000 diversity visas for the eligible people through the computer random draw. There is only one official web site which is operated by the American Government and it will accept E-DV entries for a period of 60 days from eligible people from eligible countries through out the world during the entry submission period. DV 2011 Visa Lottery Results.DV 2011 Applicants who were selected for the program were sent with their winning notifications from May till July 2010. DV 2011 Visa lottery results are already announced to the selected winners all over the world through the normal postal mail. Nearly 100,600 winners were selected by the computer random draw from the registered 12.1 million entries. The entries were submitted for the fiscal year 2011 program in the year 2009. From 1st of October 2010 those winners will be called for the interview according to the case numbers. This will continue till the visas exhaust or till the program closes officially on 30th September 2011. The 2011 winners were given with further instructions along with the winning notification. In this notification it was clearly indicated that the forms DS-122, DSP-230. (Read the instructions carefully as there is a form which you don't need to sign at this stage.) Should be duly filled and sent back to the KCC as soon as possible. Also they had asked the winners not to proceed with the application process further if they don't meet the educational or work qualification as required for the DV-2011 program. Inside the notifying white envelop Green card lottery winners can find a small sticker with the KCC address for to stick on the returning envelop. If you don't find it, no problem, just write the KCC address and send it back. It is always better to use any courier service to send your documents back to the KCC. The KCC will select eligible people's forms and will inform them about the day and date of the interview according to their case numbers. They will inform it through the normal mail. This letter is also called as Second Letter If you had applied for a diversity visa by lottery take note, that if you are a winner only, you will get the winning notification that is only by regular postal mail and not by Email or Fax or over the phone. If there is any notification in these way double check it. If you have applied for the US Government green card lottery in the year 2009, and if you didn't receive the winning notification by 30th July 2010 consider yourself not to be lucky and make your self ready to apply for the next visa lottery DV 2012. If you think your country postal service is not good or you have missed your winning notification due to address change, then you can check your DV 2011 status online from July 1st 2010 till June 30th 2011 with your confirmation number and your personal details in the American Government's official dv lottery web site. This diversity visa lottery name looks like a money paid Lottery, But it is not so, this is a true and easy way to Work and Live in America legally. The American Government allows persons to seek help from the professional people to apply for the DV 2012 lottery. But those companies can't promise you that they can make you as a winner by special services.
