DV-2013 Selected Winner Interviews.
DV-2013 selected winner interview dates are being announced through the visa bulletin pages every month with the case numbers and with the cut out numbers. Nearly 105,628 are expecting their interview dates. On the other hand there are only 50,000 visas available for the 2013 fiscal name year selection. No country can get more then 7% of the total available entry permits under this program in any given year.

Visas are exhausted for the following regions by August 2013.
Europe Current except: Uzbekistan
South America and the Caribbean Current
Selectees will not get the visas right away, but will have to proof their eligibility on the day of their interview at their Embassy to get one of those available permits. Also they should pay the processing fee too which is non returnable one if the entry permit is rejected for any reason.
Consular officers follow the first come first serve basis while conducting the processing. So if you reschedule your diversity visa interview and try to go for it on a later date, there may be no visas waiting for you. In some countries it is not allowed to reschedule your interview date.
Persons with the lowest case numbers will be called for processing from the month of October 2012.
This will follow in the following months until the visas exhaust or till to the official closing date, which is 30/09/2013 midnight.
Those selectees with higher case numbers may not be called for further processing as the visas can exhaust before the closing date. Winners can check their case numbers which are current with the cut out numbers for the month of October in the September issue of the visa bulletin.
If it is in the current list, you can expect the interview letter by 4/6 weeks.

According to the new measures taken by the authorities you must go to the result checking web site and check again to find your status, there you will see your visa interview schedule in the web page. Get a print out of it and proceed.
Already many US Embassies are using this method to issue the second letter.
Those selectees in the U.S.A can contact the USCIS office to process their selection.
The entire winners must pay the processing fees for them and for each of their dependants on the day of their processing, which is US$330 for a person.
If you have spouse and eligible children then you must take them too to the consular office on that day and pay their processing fee too.
